Join us for our first Women who Wander series from SEEK- the first of a 5 part series where every month we will head out on an adventure: hike or bike, followed by a social and information session to empower you to get active outside!
April 23rd we will be heading out for a 5kms hike into the Upper Park, and return for a post social (snacks and drinks provided), and an amazing session with Deborah Peddle-Hann, a fitness & wellness expert and backpacking educator, as she shares her personal experiences exploring some of Atlantic Canada’s most incredible trails. From the breathtaking cliffs of the Fundy Footpath and Cape Chignecto, to the wild beauty of the Nepisiguit Mi’gmaq Trail, the East Coast Trail on Newfoundland’s rugged Atlantic shores, and the remote landscapes of Gros Morne.
Through real moments on the trail, the challenges, the unexpected, and the breathtaking, Deborah brings these places to life in a way that invites you to see them differently… and maybe even see yourself there.
Whether you’re already hiking or simply curious about what’s possible beyond your usual trails, this is a chance to slow down, listen, and reconnect with that sense of adventure.
Deborah will also stay after to chat and answer questions for anyone feeling inspired to take the next step on any of these trails.
