Seek is a sustainable, eco-friendly property. We are committed to the following:
Tree protection zones: At SEEK we cherish and protect our forest. We are surrounded by old and new growth trees at SEEK and in Victoria Park, and we are committed to protecting them. All development is built around our beautiful forest with no deforestation.
Sustainable building: At SEEK we building using sustainable materials. All our cabins are built using recycled shipping containers. The container cabins have a low environmental footprint, and a sustainable material. Our yurts are made in Canada, and are an off-grid option, with a minimal environmental footprint.
Eco-hot tubs: At SEEK we use eco-tubs, which are more environmental hot tubs, using less chemicals than traditional hot tubs. The tubs are also built using recycled plastics.
Local is best: At SEEK we use local products from our soaps to the food items we sell in our cafe. We try to keep everything as local as possible.
Reduce, Recycle, Reuse: Everything we do, we follow these principals and encourage all of our guests to do the same. Together we can make an impact and help protect our earth.
At SEEK Wilderness Accommodations we believe in connecting people to nature. It’s through connection, that people build a relationship and in turn want to protect it. Our planet needs trees to survive, as they are natural carbon sinks. It is our job to listen to trees, and protect them at all costs.
